Pedro Perista
Sociologist, senior researcher at CESIS – Centro de Estudos para a Intervenção Social. Over the years, he has participated in numerous national and international research projects in the areas of poverty and social exclusion, social protection and social policies, among others. He currently represents Portugal in the European Network on Social Policy and in the team responsible for the Feasibility Study for the Creation of a European Guarantee for Vulnerable Children and is co-coordinator of the Poverty, Social Exclusion and Social Policies section of the Portuguese Sociological Association. He has co-authored around 50 publications.

Founder and CEO of the communications company Empower Sports and presenter on the Eleven Sports channel. He began his career at RTP, later working for CNN (in the US and later as a correspondent in London), Sport TV and UEFA. He has also worked with FIFA and the Portuguese Football Federation.

Researcher at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI) at Nova University Lisbon and invited associate professor at the Nova School of Social and Human Sciences, where she teaches Asian Studies and History of International Relations.
She chaired the Portuguese Association of Political Science (2012-2016) and was a consultant to the Board of Directors of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2020-2022).
Author of several articles and books including «The Great Wall and the Legacy of Tiananmen, China and Human Rights» (Tinta-da-China) and «The Portuguese and the World» (Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos). She also wrote the introduction to the new translation of George Orwell's «Nineteen Eighty-Four» (Penguin).
She teamed up with Pedro Vieira for the podcast – [Ir] Relevant Politics, for Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos, and the duo currently do the monthly podcast «Eleanor's Friends», for the Luso-American Development Foundation, with stories about extraordinary women, centered on the figure of Eleanor Roosevelt.
She is a resident international policy analyst on SIC Notícias.

He was born in Barcelona in 1976. He has a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Barcelona and a Bachelor’s degree in Market Research and Techniques from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). He has been on the PRM team for 17 years.

He is the author of 15 books, including «Aftershock», «The Work of Nations», «Beyond Outrage», «Saving Capitalism» and, most recently, «The Common Good».
He is editor of the magazine American Prospect, which he co-founded, President of the US NGO Common Cause and a member of the US Academy of Arts and Sciences.
He was one of the creators of the award-winning documentary Inequality for All and the Netflix original documentary Saving Capitalism.

President of the Champalimaud Foundation since 2004, personally selected by founder António Champalimaud, she has a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon, where she was Assistant Professor. She has held various political positions. She was the second woman in the country to serve as a minister, acting as Minister of Health in the Cavaco Silva governments (1985–1990), in addition to serving as Secretary of State for Social Security (1983–1985) and holding the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (1982–1983).Founder of the PSD, a party in which she has held various leadership positions, she was a Member of Parliament between 1983 and 2005 and twice served as Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic. She was present at the founding of the Commission on the Status of Women, now the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality. She was one of the pioneering members of SEDES, one of the oldest national civic associations. She is a member of the Council of State and was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator by the President of the Republic. She was born in Porto.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona, she has worked for over 25 years in market intelligence, an analysis tool for strategic decision-making, both as a consultant and in university teaching.
She is responsible for the Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos study, "Women in Portugal today: who they are, what they think and how they feel", an investigation based on surveys of women about their aspirations, personal, family, professional and social life, conducted by a multidisciplinary team, bringing together analysts from the Spanish consultancy firm PRM – Market Intelligence and Portuguese specialists in studies on the female gender. In 2021, Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos launched the study "Young people in Portugal today: who they are, what they think and what they feel", which she was also responsible for. Over the years, she has led projects in various sectors at PRM, from finance to telecommunications, including mass consumption and distribution, and in more than 20 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. She was born in Barcelona.

Science communication consultant and press columnist. He has been a journalist for most of his professional life. He worked for the weekly Expresso and the daily Público, of which he was one of the founders, where he created the first daily science section in the Portuguese press and founded the newspaper's website. He has devoted himself to training journalists and teaching science communication at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as providing a stage for science and technology.
