João Pedro Henriques
He reports on national politics for the Diário de Notícias newspaper.
He graduated from the Centre for Vocational Training for Journalists and also worked at the LUSA Agency and the Público newspaper.
In 2020, he launched the work «Ana Gomes – Life and the World», which is the result of a long interview with the former MEP and ambassador. He is the author of «Unfinished Revolution, what didn't change on 25 April», one of the books that is part of the FFMS collection of Portraits.

Manuel Carvalho Coutinho
Visiting assistant professor at the Catholic University of Portugal School of Humanities. He is a researcher at the Centre for Communication and Culture Studies at the same university. His areas of interest include literary journalism, the history of journalism and written reporting.
He has a PhD in Communication Sciences, he worked at the European Commission in Brussels and he was a research fellow at Nova University Lisbon.
He is the author of several publications and the FFMS Portrait «A Library, a Second Home».

Roberta Metsola
President of the European Parliament. In Brussels, she also serves as Head of Delegation for Malta’s Nationalist Party, one of the political forces that make up the European People's Party Group.
She graduated in 2003, the year Malta, where she was born, joined the EU. She is a lawyer, specialising in law and European politics.
She was elected as an MEP for the first time in 2013, becoming the first Maltese woman to win a mandate, which she went on to secure in all subsequent elections (2014 and 2019).
Between 2020 and 2022, Metsola was Vice-President of the European Parliament, during which time she was also responsible for relations with national parliaments and for interreligious and non-confessional dialogue.

He has been a journalist and infographic designer for the “Público” newspaper since 2016. He has been recognised with more than three dozen national and international awards and mentions in infographics.
With a degree in Graphic Design, he has taken part in several world congresses on infographics at the Malofiej workshop in the University of Navarra - Pamplona, Spain.
He studied programming languages at Formabase.
His work focuses on producing infographics for paper and online and creating new digital visual narratives.

Journalist, infographic designer and illustrator for the "Público" newspaper since 2006. He previously worked for the Impala and Cofina Media groups.
He has won more than dozens of national and international awards and mentions in infographics, online infographics, animated infographics and illustration.
He took part in the Malofiej workshop at the University of Navarra - Pamplona, Spain, in 2009, and has been to several world congresses. In Portugal, he completed a workshop in storytelling through infographics at the Instituto Superior de Gestão.
With a background in design, he decided to invest in web design training at LX School (Flag) and, more recently, in programming language at Formabase.
His work focuses on producing infographics for paper and online and creating new digital visual narratives with a large illustrative component.

Rosa Monteiro
She is a professor at the University of Coimbra School of Economics, where she coordinates the Master’s degree in Sociology, and a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies (CES). She was Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality in the 21st and 22nd Constitutional Governments (2017-2022). She has a PhD in Sociology of the State, Law and Administration, a Master’s degree in Families and Social Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Over the last decade, her research has been in the field of equality and public and organisational policies of non-discrimination, gender mainstreaming and official bodies for equality and non-discrimination.

Nuno Travasso
He is an architect and a researcher at the Centre for Architecture and Urbanism Studies (CEAU) and assistant visiting professor at the University of Porto School of Architecture (FAUP).
His research focuses on the study of the processes, dynamics and actors in contemporary urbanisation, the modes of reading, representation and intervention in extensively occupied territories, planning and urban management practices and public housing policies. Along with his research activity, he has also engaged in urban planning and consultancy work. He has played an active role in the public debate on public policies for land planning and housing.

Margarida David Cardoso
A journalist, she started working at the «Público» newspaper in 2016 and in 2019 moved to the self-managed newsroom of the Fumaça podcast. In 2020, she coordinated the book «Green Years» for Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos. She has a postgraduate degree in Humanitarian Action. She trained as a victim support assistant and is currently studying Psychology at the University of Lisbon.

Professor at the National School of Public Health, UNL, coordinator of the Health Systems and Policy Monitor of the WHO European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. She has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Francisco Gentil School of Nursing, a Master's degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health and a PhD in International Health from the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is a consultant at the Portuguese Directorate-General of Health.

Mónica Vieira
She has a PhD in Educational Sciences, specialising in Analysis and Organisation of Teaching, from the University of Coimbra. She is the general coordinator of the Education Initiative, a project designed to promote the success of young people by supporting exemplary projects with a potential multiplier effect on the education system.
Between 2015 and 2019, she coordinated the studies team at the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation, where, between 2010 and 2015, she was project and content manager in the areas of education, science and economics.
