Sandra Araújo
She is the coordinator of the National Strategy to Combat Poverty (ENCP) 2021-2030, after almost three decades working for the European Anti-Poverty Network Portugal, where she served as Executive Director.
She has a degree in social work and a post-graduate degree in non-profit organisation management.
She began her technical career in 1992 in the Fight Against Poverty Project in the historic centre of Gaia. In 1994 she joined the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN Portugal) and was part of the GIIF Project (Horizon Community Initiative), working in information and training.

She has a PhD in Educational Sciences, specialising in Analysis and Organisation of Teaching, from the University of Coimbra. She is the general coordinator of the Education Initiative, a project designed to promote the success of young people by supporting exemplary projects with a potential multiplier effect on the education system.
Between 2015 and 2019, she coordinated the studies team at the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation, where, between 2010 and 2015, she was project and content manager in the areas of education, science and economics.

She was born in 1982 and did competitive swimming and then the triathlon until 1999, when she went to the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon, where she got a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design. She was in college when she became a finalist for the Young Creators Prize in Literature. Her first novel came out in 2009 and won the Maria Amalia Vaz de Carvalho Award. Since then she has published novels, short stories and children's books. She has a PhD in Cultural Studies and also writes for dance and theatre.

Gonçalo Antunes
Geographer, holding a PhD in Geography and Territorial Planning from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH) of the New University of Lisbon. He is Professor at NOVA FCSH, Coordinator of the Department of Geography and Regional Planning and Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Social Sciences (CICS.NOVA).
His research focuses on housing policies, real estate market dynamics, urban public policies, urban geography, spatial planning and urban studies. He has published various studies in these fields, in addition to conducting diverse knowledge dissemination activities, such as coordinating scientific projects and curating exhibitions.
