Watch episode

How do stereotypes and prejudices shape the way we relate to each other? Which ones are more deeply rooted today? And how can they be combated? One of today's most renowned social psychologists, the American Susan Fiske, has some answers.

«Stereotypes are a shortcut we use to understand others. The most ingrained stereotypes in people are gender, age and only then race or social class», says social psychologist Susan Fiske.

The Princeton University professor will be featured in [IN]Pertinente interview , the Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos’ digital programme featuring analysis from major international personalities from the world of politics, economics and society.
