Filipa Melo
She is a writer, teacher, literary critic and communicator. She has worked in the dissemination of Books and Literature in the press and on television for 30 years, at dissemination events and writing workshops and tutoring.
Currently, she is editor of «Ler» magazine, she writes literary criticism in the «Sol» newspaper, coordinates and teaches a post-graduate degree in fiction writing at Universidade Lusófona, she is responsible for the communication of Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos essays and portraits, part of the communication office of ULS Médio Tejo, coordinates the Dom Luis I Foundation programme of International Writing Residences and is on the Cultural Council of the Eça de Queiroz Foundation.
She is the author of the novel «This Is My Body», translated into seven languages, of the reportage book «The Last Sailors» (FFMS) and of a «Sentimental Dictionary of Adultery».

He has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from Nova University Lisbon. He began his career as a journalist at the «Semanario» newspaper, joined the founding team of the business magazine «Exame» and was part of the creative group on «Fortunas» magazine, then «Fortunas & Negócios». He was editor of the «Diário Económico» and the «Jornal de Negócios» and deputy director of «Exame» magazine between 2000 and 2012. He has published several books.

He was born in Lisbon in 1957. He studied at Pedro Nunes Secondary School, became involved in the student association movement even before 25 April 1974 and began working as a journalist in 1976. He did a Biology course at the University of Lisbon School of Sciences between 1978 and 1984. After spending some time at the weekly A Voz do Povo newspaper, he worked at the weekly Expresso newspaper in the 1980s. He left there in 1989 to found the Público newspaper, where he worked in management for 20 years, 11 of which as director, until October 2009. He continued to work as a freelance columnist and journalist until 2014, when he founded the Observador newspaper, where he is publisher. He has written several books on cultural and environmental heritage and on political topics, he was also a professor in different higher education institutions and currently teaches seminars at the Catholic University Institute of Political Studies. He is married, has two children and lives near the westernmost point in mainland Europe.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nova School of Economics in Lisbon and was a researcher at the Centre for Studies on the Portuguese Economic Climate at the Catholic University and Nova SBE. He is an economist, blogger, columnist at the «Jornal Económico» and director of the Study Office at the Forum for Competitiveness.

Foreign Policy magazine named him one of the top 100 World Thinkers in 2011, and a poll conducted by «The Economist» magazine placed him among the most influential economists of the current decade. He is a regular contributor to publications such as «The New York Times», «The Wall Street Journal» and «The Washington Post». His blog, «Marginal Revolution», was named the best economics blog by «The Wall Street Journal», and Cowen was considered one of the 25 best bloggers by Time magazine in its 2013 edition. Tyler Cowen's other publications include «Discover Your Inner Economist», about behavioural economics, and «An Economist Gets Lunch: New Rules for Everyday Foodies».

Andrew Chadwick
He is Professor of Political Science in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, and Co-Director of the New Political Communication Unit, which he founded in 2007. He is the author of two major award-winning books – «Internet Politics: States, Citizens, and New Communication Technologies» and «The Hybrid Media System: Politics and Power», both published by Oxford University Press. Chadwick was the founding editor of the Oxford Studies in Digital Politics collection from Oxford University Press.

She was born in 1993 and she is a journalist. The newsroom at the «i» newspaper and the «Sol» weekly newspaper was her first home, where she began in 2018, after completing a postgraduate degree in Multiplatform Journalism. She also worked at the «Expresso» and is now in the «Sábado» newsroom.

He has a PhD in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), an institution where he is a member of the Centre for Economics of Education and where he got his Bachelor's degree and MPhil in Economics. His research focuses on the subjects of Economics of Education and Human Capital, such as: measures of added value for teachers, differentials between internal and external scores, reasons behind the progression in PISA tests and factors of success in higher education.
His work uses comprehensive databases of both the labour market and the Portuguese education system. He was also involved in the impact assessment for different educational projects developed in Portugal. He was a visiting student in the economics department at the University College of London (UCL). He is a visiting assistant at Nova SBE for several Bachelor’s degree and Master's degree courses.
