This book gives a brief history of Portuguese democracy from the reflections of eight researchers, who discuss the path that brought us to where we are and what to expect from now onwards.
These are accompanied by eight infographics on the historical progress of the last 50 years.
The course is dictated by a motto of the Revolution that Sérgio Godinho sang: «There is only real freedom when there is peace, bread, housing, health, education (...) When there is freedom to change and decide».
