Lecturer or speaker at master's courses, postgraduate courses and conferences in a number of national and foreign educational institutions. He received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Student Teaching from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2010) and the Mancini Prize for the Best Academic Work in the Field of European Law and Legal Thought from Harvard Law School (2012). He was a consultant for the OECD (2003/04) and the Tropical Scientific Research Institute (2004/05). He was also a member of the Scientific Committee of the 3rd Present in the Future Meeting organised by Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos (2014). He carries out research in the areas of Legal Theory, Political Philosophy and the History of Legal Thought.

Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro and at the GOVCOPP-UA Research Unit. He has a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Lisbon and conducts research in the fields of Networked Governance, Public Policy Processes, Public Sector Reforms and Local Innovation.

PhD candidate in Political Science at the European University Institute in Florence. With a background in International Relations, he completed his Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Aveiro, focusing on issues of electoral competition and the success of new parties.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Porto and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Beira Interior.

A political scientist with a PhD in Comparative Politics from the University of Lisbon, she studies how political institutions and citizens interact in the new digital age. Her research interests include the relationship between parliaments and citizens, political parties, political attitudes and behaviour and the quality of democracy. She is an assistant researcher at the University of Lisbon Institute of Social Sciences and currently a FLAD visiting professor at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Her work has been published in several academic journals, such as «Policy & Internet», «Party Politics» and the «Journal of Legislative Studies».
