Vasco Trigo
Science journalist for radio, television and the press. Trained at Columbia University in New York, NOVA and the Haute École ICHEC in Brussels, he was also Communications Coordinator at ISCTE-IUL. He has received awards from the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society and the online magazine «Ciência Hoje».

Reporter for the Público newspaper since its foundation. He was a correspondent in New York and editor of Pública magazine. For more than 20 years he has been reporting all over the world, in crisis zones, or wherever there is news or a good story. He has covered conflicts in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Algeria, Angola, Kashmir, Sudan, Libya and many others, and has won several awards (Gazeta, AMI, ACIDI, Portuguese Press Club, FLAD, Lettre Ulysses, Lorenzo Natali, etc.). He is a professor of journalism at the School of Communication and Media Studies in Lisbon and he wrote the biography of Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho and four other books. He currently has a blog on reports and gallivanting entitled «Reporter on the Loose».

He has a PhD in Social Psychology and a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology. He is an associate professor with aggregation and coordinator of the Master's degree course in Cognitive and Social Psychology at the University of Lisbon School of Psychology. His areas of research focus on social cognition and judgement and decision-making.

She is a professor at the University of Lisbon School of Psychology and has a PhD in Community Social Psychology from ISCTE-IUL. She has extensive research experience in the area of defining public policies through the design, implementation and evaluation of intervention programmes.

Margarida Garrido
She has a PhD in Psychology and teaches at ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon. Her research focuses on basic socio-cognitive processes and their application to different social problems and contexts. She has held academic and scientific management positions: the Department of Social and Organisational Psychology, the Master's degree course in Social and Organisational Psychology and the PhD programme in Psychology. She was also vice-director of CIS-IUL and President of the Portuguese Psychology Association.

José Gabriel Andrade
Assistant professor at the University of Minho. He holds a "European Doctorate in Communication Sciences" from the Catholic University of Portugal (research supported by FCT) and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences: Communication, Organisation and New Technologies from UCP with the support of the European Union's Alban programme.
He has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Santos, São Paulo.
He is a member of the European COST Network and a member of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences SOPCOM – where he coordinates the Organisational and Institutional Communication Working Group – and of the international networks IAMCR, ECREA and LUSOCOM.

João Moniz
He is a researcher and holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Aveiro and the University of Beira Interior. His research seeks to understand the dynamics of politicisation and contestation of the European Union and the process of integration in the European Parliament. He has participated in several international research projects.

He is an assistant professor at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and an associate researcher at the University of Lisbon Institute of Social Sciences. His general research agenda is to identify transition paths towards more sustainable contexts and practices, in a broad vision of sustainability that includes improving social relations and our relationship with the environment.
