Bio
FLAD visiting professor in the Department of Government at Georgetown University and an assistant professor of Political Science at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science (EEG), University of Minho.
He is also an associate researcher at the Social Sciences Institute, University of Lisbon (CSI-UL), where he earned his PhD. He was a visiting doctoral researcher at the EUI and IPP-CSIC.
He studies how political parties adapt, endure, or fracture under grassroots pressure. Specifically, the behavior of party members and youth wings in destabilizing — or renewing — the foundations of party politics, driving change and representation.
