Bio
He was born in Lisbon in 1966 and developed a taste for photography at an early age.
He worked at Kodak Portuguesa, where he first came into contact with professional photography, and later did an advertising photography course that opened up new doors and perspectives. In March 1993, he founded Studio LuzViva – Creative Photography, where he has worked on several projects in the areas of conceptual photography, cooking, drinks and architecture. He has published works in a variety of advertising media and has written several technical texts.
He has been teaching thematic workshops and courses at Studio 8A since 2003 and has given lectures at the Catholic University, ISLA, ANIF, APAF and Arte na Linha.
He has been organising cultural events to defend built heritage since 2008 and he has been a speaker at congresses and seminars.
He writes the blog Ruin’Arte, distinguished as best blog of 2012 in the architecture category.
