Assistant professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Algarve and a researcher at the Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development (MED). He has authored over 100 technical and scientific publications.
He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Algarve, a Master's degree in Citrus Growing from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a degree in Agronomy from the V.V. Dokuchayev Kharkiv National Agrarian University.
