He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia from the Lusiada University of Lisbon and a Master’s degree in Advertising from IADE. He has been devoted himself to managing educational projects related to statistical literacy through the Pordata Academy since 2010. More recently, he also took up the position of Regional Director at the American Atlantis Project, as well as the management of environmental education projects for Oceanário de Lisboa. He is passionate about travel, which he regularly partakes in.

She has been a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, ESTM, since 1999. She got her PhD in Sociology and Historical Economics from the Nova School of Social and Human Sciences in Lisbon. Among other books, she published «Gifts and Disciplines of the Female Body» (1997), «The Time of the Servant Girls» (2012), «Óbidos Lagoon: A Guide to the Interpretation of Heritage» (2015) and «Different Views: A Portrait of the Óbidos Lagoon» (2015).

He is part of the LanCog group at the University of Lisbon Philosophy Centre. Also at this university, he is a professor in the Philosophy Department at the School of Arts and Humanities, where he teaches Ethics, Modern Philosophy and Critical Thinking. He is the author of «From the Universe's Point of View», as well as articles in the area of Ethics. He organised the anthologies «Do Animals Have Rights?» and «The Ethics of Abortion».

Journalist, writer and commentator. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Russian History from Moscow State University (Lemonossov), where he went to live in 1977. He then devoted himself to the translation of literary and political works and in 1989 he began to report for TSF, having been the correspondent for the «Publico» newspaper in Moscow. He returned to Portugal in 2015. He is currently a commentator on SIC and SIC News, the «Observador» newspaper and Antena 1 radio. He has written several books, including «Russia and Europe: Part of the Whole», published by FFMS. He received the Order of Merit of the Portuguese Republic in 2013.

Alexandre Soares dos Santos was born in Porto in 1934 and died in Lisbon in August 2019. He attended the Lisbon Law Faculty and began working as a trainee manager at Unilever N.V. in 1957, having had internships in Germany and Ireland. This was the beginning of an international career at Unilever, which included working as Marketing Director for Unilever Brasil between 1964 and 1968. In 1968, he returned to Portugal to join the Board of Directors of Grupo Jerónimo Martins as Delegate-Director, before taking on the role of Chairman of the Executive Committee, which he held along with the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1996 to 2013. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation until his death.

He is director of the University of Lisbon School of Arts and Humanities, where he co-founded and chaired the Literary Theory programme and teaches Literature Theory. He was a visiting professor at Stanford University, the University of Massachusetts and the University of Chicago. He has a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota. He has written several books, articles and essays.
