Forced Labour

Around 27 million people all over the world are still subjected to forced labour to this day, particularly in Asian countries. They produce the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the solar panels that give us electricity and a myriad of other everyday products. They are the silent, neglected victims of a crime that challenges universal values and the fight against extreme poverty, social inequality, the prioritisation of profit at any cost and global insecurity.

Based on in-depth research into forced labour, this book suggests ways and means of eradicating this form of inhuman exploitation.
