Bio
Philippe Aghion was awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work on the impact of new technologies on economic growth. He is a professor at the Collège de France, where he holds the chair in Institutions, Innovation, and Growth. He also holds the Kurt Björklund Chair in Innovation and Growth at INSEAD and is a visiting professor of economics at the London School of Economics. He was born in Paris in 1956.
