Studied law before graduating to newspapers and magazines. He wrote regularly about music for almost 40 consecutive years.
He has two weekly radio programmes on Antena 1 («Bairro Latino» and «As Regras da Atração»).
He has been on the panel of commentators on «Trio d’Ataque» (RTP3) since 2012.
He previously published the book «When TV Used to Bring the Country to a Halt», which was followed by «Something to Talk About and Sweet Mouth». He also has other books in his portfolio.
