Professor at the Lisbon Accounting and Business School (ISCAL) and is an integrated researcher at the Portucalense Legal Institute.
She has worked as a legal adviser both in the office of the Secretary of State for the Environment and at Águas de Portugal, and served on the executive committee of the Portuguese Association of Water Resources (APRH).
She holds a PhD in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), Lisbon and wrote her doctoral thesis on international river basin districts.
