(1957-2026) He had a degree in Religious Sciences from the Faculty of Theology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). He was a member of the Economic and Social Council. He was a member of the Social Council of the Faculty of Economics and Business Science of Universidade Lusíada. He has served as President of Cáritas Portuguesa and as President of the Portuguese Volunteer Confederation. He was a member of the Council of Orders of Civil Merit of the Presidency of the Republic.
