Bio
Assistant Professor at the University of Coimbra School of Psychology and Education Sciences, where she has taught since 1987. She holds a PhD in Education Sciences, specialising in Sociology of Education, from the University of Coimbra. She is also a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies, working on the Democracy, Justice and Human Rights research topic, and co-coordinator of the Educational Policies and Professional Development Observatory. Her research and teaching interests focus on the sociology of education, educational policies, higher education, comparative education and educational administration and management.
