Bio
Environmental biologist, PhD in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies, with a specialisation in Environmental Sciences. As a Junior Researcher at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), she follows a transdisciplinary approach in order to bridge the gap between Natural Sciences and Economics, seeking to improve biodiversity conservation and environmental management in general. Her interests focus mainly on the total costs and benefits of the different uses of ecosystems.
Her research work focuses on the use and non-use values of coastal and marine ecosystem services and their valuation, using revealed and stated preference techniques to inform decision-making.
