Bio
Researcher at the University of Coimbra Centre for Social Studies and Executive Coordinator of the Permanent Observatory for Portuguese Justice. She has coordinated and taken part in studies in the areas of policies and reforms of law, justice and courts and judicial cooperation. In addition to Portugal, she has done research projects in Macau, Mozambique, Angola and within the European Union, examples of which are studies on the judicial map in Portugal, trafficking of women for the purpose of sexual exploitation, courts of justice in Angola and the European arrest warrant. She has taken part in several working groups on judicial reform and has taught on advanced training programmes. She has several publications on topics related to the sociology of law and the administration of justice.
