Bio
He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Évora, a Master’s degree in Statistical Modelling and Data Analysis from the same university and a Master’s degree in Demography from the University of Lund, European Doctoral School of Demography. His research focuses on the study of the rate of ageing and the preparation of mortality and population forecasts and projections. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Centre for History, Cultures and Societies at the University of Évora.
