Bio
He has been a diplomat since 1999 and has worked in Lisbon, Luanda, Brussels, Tokyo and Paris (OECD). He was head of office and diplomatic advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and the Sea (2011-2015). He has written «Travels in Other Lands – Almeida Garrett, Diplomat in Brussels» (2011); «Blue Diplomacy – the Sea in Portugal’s Foreign Policy» (2017) and several articles in national and foreign magazines. He is currently the Consul General of Portugal in Manchester.
