Bio
Professor in the Department of Landscape, Environment and Planning at the University of Évora. She is a geographer with a degree from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, an MSc from Arlon, Belgium (Diplome Européen en Sciences de l'Environment), and a PhD in Geography from the University of Copenhagen.
She is Director of MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development, Course Director of the Doctoral Programme in Interdisciplinary Landscape Management and of the Doctoral Programme in Landscape Biodiversity and Society.
