He has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Porto School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He is a member of the Observatory for Economics and Fraud Management and his research focuses on the area of the unregistered economy and tax evasion. At the University of Porto, he is a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Economics and Finance. His work, in addition to the subject of the parallel economy, which he has written several publications on, focuses on scientific research in the area of macroeconomics, budgetary policy and public finances.
