Biologist, emeritus professor at the University of Lisbon School of Sciences and a researcher at the Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes (cE3c).
She has a PhD in Biology and an aggregation in Ecology, as well as a master's degree in Science Communication.
She is the author of more than 250 works (chapters, books, articles and dissemination texts).
