Bio
José Varejão is an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics of Porto. He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Porto, with Labour Economics and Cultural Economy (cultural heritage) being his areas of expertise. He is a researcher at CEF.UP and a research fellow at IZA - Institute of Labor Economics (Bonn).
He was also Chair of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto between 2015 and 2023.
