He was born in Lisbon in 1972. He has a Bachelor’s degree in painting from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts and he is currently doing his Master’s degree in Criticism, Curating and Theories of Art at the same school. He spends his time between painting and training in the field of visual arts, specifically in institutions dedicated to people with disabilities (AFID Difference Foundation) and mental illness (Association Restart).
