Bio
She is Associate Professor of Finance at Imperial College and Visiting Professor at Nova SBE. She holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and has been a research associate in the Financial Markets Group at this university since graduating in 2010. She spent some time in the United States working in the Finance Department of the WP Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, before returning to Lisbon to join the finance department at Nova SBE. Her research focus is Corporate Finance and her work has been published several times in academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science.
