He is a PhD researcher at the Strategy and Innovation department at Copenhagen Business School and at the Open Innovation in Science Centre of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft. He has held academic positions at the University of Mannheim and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. His research focuses on the motivations and effects of strategic adaptation, corporate entrepreneurship and open innovation.
