She is a journalist and she studied at Cenjor (Professional Training Centre for Journalists). She worked at Radio Renascença, where she edited and presented news, interviews and reports. In recent years, she has focused particularly on health-related issues. Under a partnership between RR, the public newspaper and RTP2, she conducted television interviews with senior health officials in Portugal. She has taken part in conferences and debates in Portugal and abroad and has also done several training courses in the field of health. She is now self-employed.
