Journalist at the Público newspaper since 2017, he previously worked at the «Observer» and «O Corvo» newspapers.
His interest in and taste for local journalism first came to light when he was an intern at a television channel in Barcelona and grew stronger in Lisbon, where he wrote about everything about life in the capital.
He has reported from several European cities, including Kyiv under threat from bombs, but his most outstanding work is done in Lisbon. He won the Journalism and Local Power Award from the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities in 2016 and 2019.

Author of «This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism» she is at the forefront of the emerging movement to raise awareness about ageism and make age a criterion for diversity.
Co-founder of the «Old School Anti-Ageism Clearinghouse», she speaks frequently on this subject, including on the main stage of TED and the UN.
In addition to writing for Harper’s, The Guardian and the New York Times, she has been recognised by the New York Times, the New Yorker, National Public Radio and the American Society on Aging as an expert on ageism. Furthermore, she is the voice behind «Yo, Is This Ageist?»
In 2022, she was named by the UN as one of the «Healthy Aging 50»: fifty leaders who are making the world a better place to grow old.

Hein de Haas
Dutch sociologist and geographer who has conducted extensive research into migration over the last three decades. Between 2006 and 2015, he was Co-director of the International Migration Institute (IMI) at Oxford University. He is currently Professor of Sociology at the University of Amsterdam (UVA), where he continues to direct the IMI. He is also Professor of Migration and Development at Maastricht University. His book «How Migration Really Works» was published in Autumn 2023 by Viking.

Full Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is a researcher at NOVA's Communication Institute. Her work focuses on media and journalism studies, children and the media, inclusion and digital participation.
She is Coordinator of the «EU Kids Online» project.
Previously, she was affiliated with the Communication, Information and Digital Culture Research Centre, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Social Sciences and the Media and Journalism Research Centre.
She holds a degree in social communication, a master's degree in communication sciences and a PhD in journalism.
