More diaries from a classroom – Four teachers
In March 2014, Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos published Maria Filomena Mónica's book "A Sala de Aula" (The Classroom) at the same time as another book, "Diários de uma Sala de Aula" (Diaries of a Classroom), accounts by teachers, students and a mother about their experiences in the Portuguese education system. The richness and diversity of the testimonies collected led FFMS to decide to publish these four additional testimonies by four teachers of different subjects in different Portuguese schools. In them, you will find accounts of:
- daily life in Portuguese schools
- the difficulties teachers face when dealing with their classes
- the difficulties their students face
- the red tape associated with teaching
- the discouragement that affects many teachers.
