This book portrays daily life in a hotel from the less visible side. From behind the scenes, we tell stories about the work, the guests, the incidents, the adventures, the fears, fatigue and charm, the demands, games and techniques, the past and present, shift work, duties and days off. At times, this is also a portrait of the inner workings of a hotel, because we will be talking about its organs, the connections, the bigger and the smaller muscles, the moments when the hotel breathes in and when it holds its breath, as if it were a body. Behind the scenes we look at routines, rules, shifts, records and service sheets, but also amazing things and disappointments, audacity and embarrassment. In this book, the microscopic scale of life in a hotel will be analysed on a larger scale to understand the country from this area of activity, which is increasingly important and present in everyday life.
