Author of «This Hair», published by Teorema in 2015, and of «Helping Them to Fall», a 2017 essay published by Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos. She has a PhD in Literature Theory from the University of Lisbon, she has published works in the Ler newspaper, and in Granta, Serrote, Zum, Common Knowledge, Pessoa, Words Without Borders magazines, among others. She was born in Angola in 1982, lives in Lisbon and writes monthly for the «Companhia das Letras» blog.
