Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto's School of Education, in the area of Pedagogical Supervision, and coordinator of the master's programme in Pre-School Education and Primary School Teaching.
She was honoured with the ‘Global Teacher Prize Portugal 2020’ (3rd edition), an award internationally considered to be the ‘nobel of education’. She was in the TOP 50 of the Global Teacher Prize worldwide in 2021.
Since October 2016, she has been the mentor and national coordinator of COOPERA, a pedagogical intervention and innovation project.
She has a PhD in Education and Human Development from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), a degree in Education Sciences from FPCEUP (Porto) and a bachelor's degree in Primary School Teachers (1st Cycle) from ISEC (Lisbon). She is currently doing a post-doctorate in Education Sciences, specialising in Pedagogical Practice and Research and Didactics, at UTAD (Vila Real).

He is a (co-opted) member of the National Educational Board.
He was secretary of State for Elementary and Secondary Education in the XII Constitutional Government in 1992/93 and member of the Steering Committee of CERI - Centre for Studies and Research on Innovation in Education, of the OECD.
He was the first Director of the Faculty of Education and Psychology at UCP and Director of the School of Arts.
He is the editor of the Portuguese Journal for Educational Research. He is President of the Board of Directors of the Manuel Leão Foundation. He received his doctorate in Education Sciences from the University of Lisbon in 1999.

He is the Michael D. Dingman Chair in Strategy, Globalization & Entrepreneurship at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, The University of Maryland at College Park. Anil is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on strategy, globalization and entrepreneurship.
Ranked by «Thinkers50» as 'one of the world’s most influential living management thinkers', he has also been named by The Economist as one of the world's «superstars» for research on emerging economies, and inducted into the Academy of Management Journals’ «Hall of Fame».
He is one of only three professors, out of over 25000 worldwide, to have been elected a Lifetime Fellow of the three most prestigious academic bodies in his field – Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and Academy of International Business. He is the author of several best-selling books including «The Quest for Global Dominance», «Getting China and India Right», and «The Silk Road Rediscovered».
Anil Gupta received his doctorate from the Harvard Business School, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Her research interests include European history and politics, the development of democracy, populism and fascism and the history of the left. She writes on these topics for a wide variety of academic and non-academic publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs and VOX. She is currently on the boards of the Journal of Democracy, Dissent and Political Science Quarterly. Her latest book, «Democracy and Dictatorship in Europe: From the Ancien Regime to the Present Day», was published by Oxford University Press in 2019.

Member of the Portuguese Parliament for over ten years.
She chaired the Parliamentary Committee for Parity, Equal Opportunities and Family between 1995 and 1999. Since 1998, she has held the same position in the European Network of Parliamentary Committees for Equal Opportunities.
She has a degree in Social and Political Sciences from ISCSP, where she served as Visiting Assistant Professor. She was also Lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University.

He is a principal investigator at the University of Lisbon Institute of Social Sciences. Over the years, in several countries, from the United States to Israel, as well as England and Brazil, he has devoted himself to the study of nationalism, right-wing and left-wing sociopolitical movements, as well as issues related to political leadership. In 2021, Zúquete organised the «Routledge International Handbook of Charisma».

For more than 20 years he has been reporting all over the world, in crisis zones, or wherever there is news or a good story. He has covered conflicts in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Algeria, Angola, Kashmir, Sudan, Libya and many others, and has won several awards (Gazeta, AMI, ACIDI, Portuguese Press Club, FLAD, Lettre Ulysses, Lorenzo Natali, etc.). He is a professor of journalism at the School of Communication and Media Studies in Lisbon and he wrote the biography of Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho and four other books. He currently has a blog on reports and gallivanting entitled «Reporter on the Loose».
