Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Sciences, Catholic University of Portugal, and an integrated researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Health, where she promotes the working group Mind, Brain and Education. She is an education psychologist, has a PhD in Health Sciences and co-authored «When your Son’s Brain goes to School» (2017) and «Neuromyths» (2020). She has allied research and the dissemination of transdisciplinary science.

Former CEO and member of the Executive Committee and of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, David Lopes holds a college degree in Business Management. He was until September 2014 the President of the international area of Daymon Worldwide (a leading global company in consumers’ brand development) where he was also responsible for managing international joint ventures, business operations development and expansion in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He previously was General Manager at Daymon Portugal for three years, where he led the team that established the hub which became the basis of this North American international business in Europe. He transitioned from this role to serve as CEO of the leading Portugese wholesaler «Recheio Cash & Carry» before rejoining Daymon. His professional career also includes leadership positions in the polish company Biedronka and as member of the Board of Directors of the companies «Parque Expo», «Oceanário de Lisboa» and «Fundação do Gil». He is a founding member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council.

António Barreto was born in Porto on 30th October, 1942. He lived in Vila Real until he finished secondary school, after which he attended Coimbra Law Faculty. He lived in Switzerland as a political exile from 1963 to 1974, graduating in Sociology in 1968. He worked at the University of Geneva and the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development before returning to Portugal in 1974. He worked as a professor at the Social and Human Sciences and Law Faculty at Lisbon's Universidade Nova, as a researcher at Universidade Católica and the Social Sciences Institute of Universidade de Lisboa until 2008. He gained his Doctorate in Sociology in 1985 from the University of Geneva. He was a member of the Constituent Assembly and the Portuguese Parliament, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Minister for Trade and Tourism and Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. He was also the winner of the Montaigne Prize of 2004. He has been a member of the Academia das Ciências since 2008, Chairman of the Board of the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation since 2009 and a columnist for the «Público» newspaper since 1991. His published work includes, «Anatomia de uma Revolução», «Tempo de Mudança», «Sem Emenda», «Tempo de Incerteza», «A Situação Social em Portugal», «1960-1999» and «Anos Difíceis».

Film critic, screenwriter, director and manager of the Cinema area for Guimarães 2012 – European Capital of Culture. He is a professor at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School and wrote for Seara Nova and Cinéfilo magazines and the A Luta and Expresso newspapers. He currently works with the Diário de Notícias newspaper.

Lawyer. He has been a columnist and lawyer for the «Público» newspaper since its foundation and was the jurist responsible for the first conviction of the Portuguese State for violation of Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which protects freedom of expression. Since then, he has been defending journalists convicted by the Portuguese courts at the European Court of Human Rights. He was part of the Council of Europe's expert group on the Rights of Internet Users. He has a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree from the Institute of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Coimbra School of Law.

Her work has been published in magazines such as «Granta», «Tin House” and «Literary Hub», and in media such as the «Público» newspaper, Antena 1, «Business Journal», the BBC World Service and «Message».

Social psychologist, principal investigator at the University of Lisbon Institute of Social Sciences (ICS-UL) and visiting professor at the School of Psychology, also in that university. He has a PhD in Social Psychology from ISCTE – IUL (2009) and did his postdoctoral studies in the Netherlands and Lisbon (ICS-UL).
He was president of the Portuguese Psychology Association (APP) between 2021 and 2023.
His research focuses on intergroup relations and socially relevant decisions for low-status groups.
He has published works in magazines such as the «European Journal of Social Psychology» and «Frontiers in Psychology».

He was born in Lisbon in 1975. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Communication and Media Studies, he worked on Canal Q, owned by Produções Fictícias, and is currently a scriptwriter and works on the RTP3 programme Last One Out Turns Off the Light. He is in charge of Communication at Cinema São Jorge and was a Communication Consultant at Booktailors. He works as a freelance illustrator and writes books as if there were no tomorrow.

He has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Contemporary History from Nova University Lisbon and a PhD in History of Education from the University of Lisbon. He has published work in the area of the History of Discoveries, the History of Women and the History of Education. He has been a teacher since 1987 and has been in charge of education since 2003. Contributes to the «Jornal de Letras», with texts on education, past, present or even future.
