In recent years, «jobs for life» have become increasingly non-existent in Portugal. "The days are numbered" is a film that documents unique moments in this historic transition in the country. The changes brought about by the new technological revolution manifest themselves either directly or indirectly in the lives of the subjects and those around them.

As in most people's lives, these changes can appear in the uncertainties affecting the young, the unemployment faced by older generations or as a backdrop, through the daily news reports in the media. A film by Ana Sofia Fonseca for the Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos.
