Her main research interests include the impact of social policies on the living conditions of vulnerable populations, social welfare, the philosophy of the common good and the epistemology of social work. More recently, she has become interested in the study of children and their values and attitudes towards social diversity and social justice. She is currently Professor of Social Work at the School of Education and Social Work at the University of Vigo.
