Journalist at the Diário de Notícias since 1992, where he is currently Deputy Editor. Throughout his career, he has covered international politics, including visiting several American states to report on the 2000 and 2004 US presidential elections.
Additionally, he has also reported on the Portuguese-American community in New England and California, most recently in 2025, when he visited the San Joaquin Valley.
He holds a degree in Social Communication, a master's degree in American Studies and a PhD in Contemporary History.
