Laure Leglise is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Sustainability at the Department of Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability at Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She joined MMU in 2023, following her appointment as a Research Fellow at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in Portugal.
She holds a PhD from Paris Dauphine University, France. Her research examines the dual role of businesses as both contributors to and potential solvers of pressing social and environmental challenges, including climate change and social inequality. She investigates especially how sustainability transitions are understood, managed, and communicated. Laure’s research spans a range of industries, including fashion, banking and financial services, the energy sector, and business and management education. Her research is published in top academic journals.
