He is an analyst at the International Transport Forum (FIT/ITF), part of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has worked in a managerial position on several public works. He returned to academia and got a Master’s degree in Complex Transport Infrastructure Systems and a PhD in Transport Systems, both under the MIT Portugal programme. His thesis focused on railways.
