"A journalist, he has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the School of Communication and Media Studies and a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities in Lisbon.
He has been writing for the Observador since 2016. In 2017, he won the Dom Manuel Falcão Prize for Journalism, which distinguishes works on religious topics. He was one of the authors of a series of investigative reports on sexual abuse in the Catholic Church in Portugal, published in 2019 and won several journalism awards, including the Gazeta Multimedia Prize.
He is the author of the book «Rome, We Have a Problem. How the Catholic Church dealt with Two Thousand Years of Sexual Abuse» (Tinta-da-China, 2021).
He was born in Leiria in 1995."
