Professor Charles Boxer at King’s College London. He has a PhD from the European University Institute, taught at Nova University Lisbon and he was director of the National Library and director of the Gulbenkian Cultural Centre in Paris. Among his monographs, we highlight «Racism from the crusades to the 20th century» and «History of Inquisitions», published by Círculo de Leitores in English, French, Italian and Spanish versions.

Writer, investigative journalist in the cultural area, ethnobotany researcher and nature photographer, she is the author of the books «Stories that Escaped from the Trees», 2012, «With the Wind Blowing Behind the Barrel: When Vineyards and Man Invented Lagoa» (Best Wine Book of the Year, Gourmand Awards 2017) and «Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro – Armed with a Tree», 2020. Her stories are published in literary journals and anthologies and include «The Radiance of the Short Story: Fiction from around the globe», 2018.

He was born in 1986. He has worked in creative advertising and wrote «On the Road», in 2014, published by Abysmo. He has already shown the world 30 of his drawings, in the exhibition «Inspiration Theory», held at MONA in 2015. He also likes to play and listen to music. He defends the art of travelling and believes that this will save the world.

He is an emeritus professor of Contemporary History at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he was Rector from 1990 to 1994. He is also a doctor «honoris causa», granted by the University of Minho (2015).
Among his recent publications, «Galicia, a Nation Between Two Worlds» (Past & Present, 2019) and «Republican Exile and National Pluralism: Spain, 1936-1982» (Marcial Pons, 2021). He also coordinated «History of Spain» (Critique e Marcial Pons, 2007-2017, 12 vols.) with Josep Fontana.

Film critic, screenwriter, director and manager of the Cinema area for Guimarães 2012 – European Capital of Culture. He is a professor at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School and wrote for Seara Nova and Cinéfilo magazines and the A Luta and Expresso newspapers. He currently works with the Diário de Notícias newspaper.

(1942-2014) He was a lawyer, Secretary of State in the 4th and 5th Provisional Governments, director of RTP1, administrator of INCM, Commissioner-General for the Discoveries Celebrations and Commissioner of Portugal for Expo'92 (Seville), director of the Gulbenkian and a Member of the European Parliament. He was president of the CCB Foundation. Poet, fiction writer, essayist and translator. His awards include the Pessoa Prize, the Grand Prize for Poetry and Romance from the APE, the Golden Crown from the Struga Poetry Festival, the Prix Max Jacob Étranger and the Premio Nazionale per la Traduzione. He translated Dante, Petrarch, Benn, Rilke, Walter Benjamin, Shakespeare, Heaney, Lorca, Villon, Ronsard, Racine, Corneille, Molière, Voltaire and Rostand.

He is an emeritus professor at the University of Coimbra School of Arts and Humanities. He has a PhD in Modern and Contemporary History from the University of Coimbra and a PhD Honoris Causa from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. He coordinates the research group ""Rethinking the Art of the Historian” in the Centre for History of Society and Culture at the University of Coimbra. He was director of the ""Journal of the History of Ideas”. He does research work in the areas of Republicanism, Secularisation, Historical Memory, the Theory of History, Historiography, the History of Ideas and Cultural History.
