Ricardo Reis: inflation is not that simple

In 2022, inflation in Portugal surpassed 8%, the highest figure since 1992. And now, faced with the huge increase in tariffs imposed by Donald Trump's administration, could the downward cycle of inflation be jeopardised? Is the US on the verge of a recession? And what impact could this scenario have on European economies? Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, Ricardo Reis, answers these and other questions in this interview.
