Clone of Foundation celebrates 15 years

The mission of the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation is to promote and deepen the knowledge on the Portuguese reality, thereby contributing to the development of society, the consolidation of citizens' rights and the improvement of public institutions. 

Over the last decade and a half, the Foundation created Pordata, a database with statistical information from dozens of national and international official entities, published 75 studies and 260 books on the Portuguese reality.

Because informed citizens are better prepared for deep and independent thinking.

Nas últimas duas décadas, o PS liderou o país durante 15 anos, formando cinco governos. Nesse mesmo período, dois executivos foram liderados pelo PSD.

Apenas seis dos 16 governos eleitos em democracia concluíram o mandato de quatro anos. Dois foram liderados por Cavaco Silva; os outros por António Guterres, José Sócrates, Pedro Passos Coelho e António Costa.
